Richmond RCMP Toy Drive

On November 21, 2015 Cpl. Bob SANGHA of the RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Awareness Section attended Ironwood Mall in Richmond, BC for a Christmas Toy Drive. The toy drive was hosted by the Richmond RCMP with partners from Tim Horton’s, Save on Foods, Canadian Tire, Richmond Cares, and the Rotary Club of Steveston. There was a pancake breakfast for kids and their families who donated a toy. All donations were presented to the Richmond Christmas Fund. The fund assists nearly 2000 low income families providing them with vouchers, toys, books and gift certificates.
In order to promote DARE, Cst. KANDOLA who is the DARE coordinator for Richmond had set up a booth that featured the DARE vehicle along with various DARE items. Richmond RCMP Cst. KANDOLA and Cst. OWNEN (DARE instructor) and RCMP Strategic Prevention Services Lower Mainland Coordinator, Cpl. SANGHA were all present in support this fantastic event.
