In November, Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) students and DARE BC’s Partner Relations Manager Rimitha Sandhu organized D.A.R.E. BC’s first ever bottle drive. With amazing efforts the students were able to raise over $350.00 in one day by collecting bottles from local neighbourhoods. The students raised awareness in many neighborhoods and provided details about the program when asked questions. Many households provided donations plus their bottles to support such a positive program. We would like to thank the KPU students for their immense support in making D.A.R.E. BC’s first bottle drive such a success. D.A.R.E. BC is now in the process of organizing bottle drives annually to support our community and BC youth.
