On August 6, 2018, the D.A.R.E. BC Society held the BC Day D.A.R.E. to Care Gala in Vancouver. The event was hosted in partnership with our new Platinum Funding Partner, Mr. Huaijun Chen. The fundraiser helped spread awareness about the D.A.R.E.’s mission throughout the local community, while raising funds to support the program in the upcoming school year.
Volunteers of the event put on a live show for the attendants that featured singing, dancing, and a performance from a local student orchestra. Many of D.A.R.E.’s largest supporters were also honored during the ceremony portion of the night.
