Esther Ho Races for Change
D.A.R.E. BC Society Director, Esther Ho, is championing another exciting fundraiser, where she will cross the Sahara Desert to raise funds for four non-profits, including D.A.R.E. BC Society.
Esther Ho, Founding Director and President of Care for Life Foundation, will participate in the Sahara Ultimate Race between May 1 to 7, 2016. As one of the 219 competitors, she said she would be the first Canadian-Chinese to cross the Sahara Desert to do fundraising for four non-profit organizations.
Organizers appealed to promote and support this meaningful event, in order to raise $150,000 to support four non-profit organizations: Care for Life Foundation, Christian Zheng Sheng College, D.A.R.E. BC Society, and Vancouver Sowers Society of Education.
In preparation of the big race, Care for Life Foundation and E&E GLOBAL Charity Event Team hosted a very successful running/walking event ‘Love Across Vancouver’, on Apr 2, 2016 (Sat) at 9am. The 5km run/walk event, started at Kitsilano Beach Park, and ended at Spanish Banks Park.
On June 17, 2016, Esther Ho and the E&E Global Business presented Vice President of D.A.R.E. Mike Yau and Board Director Steve Ternes with a cheque for $4,350, which was raised with great efforts from the members of E&E Global. D.A.R.E. BC Society is grateful for the continuous support of the E&E Global Business.
